We Believe in Doing the Job Right!

We called another plumbing & heating company originally, but they couldn’t come out the same day. My father-in-law recommended Major heating since they were local, and he had used them before. I had to pay the higher weekend rate, but it was worth it. The service technician ‘Dan’ came out the same day and got the furnace running. We did run into a minor problem a couple of days later, but Dan came back out and charged us only for the part. I only post reviews when the service is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Major earned their 5 stars this time!

Absolutely amazing service. Our heater went out, they had somebody come immediately, fix furnace, and installed a new thermostat in no time.  I’m a renter, but my landlord said to pretty much blank-check the repair, and they were very honest, and did their best still to save us $$ on the repair at every turn.  They were done with everything within an hour. Would recommend to anybody!

Prompt, friendly and Knowledgeable! Major arrived within their promised time and took the time to understand what we were experiencing in the house. Cold upstairs while blazing hot in the basement in the winter. Hot upstairs and freezing in the basement in the summer. The Comfort Specialist provided different options to meet our needs (and budget) and was very knowledgeable about rebate options that were available to us. They even brought coloring books for the kids!

Just had them out to service my A/C through a Groupon deal, and I couldn’t be happier (which is fare in the world of “home service Groupon deals” especially).  The technician (Treavor), was extremely professional and courteous, and took the time to explain everything about our A/C system in our home and let me follow him around asking questions the whole time.  He was very up front about the current condition of the system, the services needed, and even some basic maintenance tips I could do myself.  It is because of this honesty and dedication to quality service that I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

Great company! Very responsive! All the technicians are knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. They treat your space like it was their own. They have been at our house on weekends and late at night, and have always provided great service with a positive attitude.

Major replaced my original townhouse heating and cooling system with Carrier products in early May 2014. Everyone I dealt with–from the estimator, to office personnel to the installers–was first rate. I learned a lot about heating and cooling from Major, as well. There were some minor issues that needed tweaking after my installation and Major was very responsive. They did whatever was required to remedy little problems. In fact, I felt that Major personnel went above and beyond in their responsiveness and diligence. This is one company that sticks to it mission statement. If you want quality products and a job done right, with respect, choose Major!

Nick diagnosed my boiler system problem immediately, fixed it and my heat was back a few hours later. He is very knowledgeable and an asset to the company, I appreciate people who try to do their jobs well and have a good attitude about it!
